What is AutoGrass? AutoGrass is non-contact motorsport that takes place on a quarter-mile, loose-surface oval racetrack. There are several differing classes of car, from near standard sedans to spaceframed single seaters. Up to 8 cars start on a straight line grid and race over 5 lap races. All classes normally race through qualifying heats and finals and, if time permits, open races where different classes race against each other. Racing is open to everyone including juniors of twelve to sixteen years old.
